Refunds
JifChat’s Terms of Service say fees are non-refundable, except as required by law. Cancelling your plan stops future payments. It doesn’t refund payments you’ve already made.
What do the Terms say about refunds?
Section titled “What do the Terms say about refunds?”The JifChat Terms of Service (effective 20 July 2025) say, under “Pre-paid Credits and Subscription Fees”, that fees are non-refundable, except as required by law.
Does cancelling my plan give me a refund?
Section titled “Does cancelling my plan give me a refund?”Cancelling and refunds are separate. Cancelling stops future payments (see How do I cancel my plan?). It doesn’t refund anything you’ve already paid.
How do I ask for a refund?
Section titled “How do I ask for a refund?”Email us at hello@jif.dev.
Do I get credits back if a generation fails?
Section titled “Do I get credits back if a generation fails?”Yes. If a generation fails at the provider, the credits are refunded to your balance. This is a credit refund, not a money refund. On Canvas, before a run starts JifChat shows a message like: “{cost} credits will be held when this runs and fully refunded if generation fails.”
Do credits expire?
Section titled “Do credits expire?”No. Credits don’t expire. They last until you spend them. If you’re on a paid plan, though, your balance is reset to your plan’s monthly credits each month, so unused credits don’t carry over (see Billing & invoices).
